Seaworld

On Friday Emily, Matt, Rebecca and Lee and I decided to take the kids to Seaworld. What were we thinking?

Grandpa helped Mimi practice with her camera before the kids arrive

The kids were paired up with buddies

The wait for the dolphin show was long.....

and it was hot......

But the sharks were impressive!

even Ayla forgot to be scared

Brianna was impressed with the shark jaw

Lyndi was a little nervous about it

The wagon was a blessing, but also became somewhat of a tug of war...everyone wanted to ride in it!

Proof that we really did see a black swan!

The girls got to touch the starfish

Everyone else is looking where Rebecca is pointing, but Asia is doing her own thing. Is this a pattern?

While everyone else rode the raft ride,

Lyndi took a nap

and Ayla followed Grandpa around

Watching the Shamu Show

And dinner at a taco shop-a whole in the wall place (we were the only ones there, not a good sign) that mimi picked out, good one Mimi!

Lyndi was pacified after a long day with m&m's

The burrito is as big as Brianna!

the girls still had energy to dance, unbelievable!

A long, long, day, and the trip comes to an end.

The babysitters (oh boy!)

So Grandpa and Mimi stayed behind when the rest of the family went to disneyland to watch Lyndi and Payton.

They were not impressed with our skills.

Grandpa was unsuccessful at dressing Payton, so demonstrated how the shorts were worn.

Mimi played photographer (with some very mixed results) and Payton would not have anything to do with it

Lyndi just put up with us.....

We tried wings next, definitely a no go

Lyndi loved the pearls but would not hold still

Since the rest of the family was at disneyland, we did the Snow White outfit

We attempted to play with Emma

The best one-yes the one before we removed the pacifier.

Austin is a fanatic on the slide

he kept hanging on till the last moment

Lyndi thought she was a princess in the castle

Lyndi and Austin became buddies and went down the slide together

Austin demonstrated how to almost reach the binaculars

They rode the dophin together

at one point Lyndi decided she was done and started out down the sidewalk-I had to run chase her!

after reviewing the pictures of Emma, I decided to try again.

And she endured us all with charm.
